Yes that’s right, people swear and so do I.
But not when with company. For fear of ruining my lady-like reputation,
But behind closed doors, when not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse, I swear like a sailor. I swear in my head, I swear out loud. I make little swear-rhymes just to ease the pain of my stubbed toe.
Hey! Don’t judge me, we all do it. In fact, research shows that when in pain, people who swore felt less pain than people who didn’t. Swearing is good!
However, I’m worried. What if I fall down in the middle of the road? What if I forget the presence of people around me? What if I let out a little censored word? What if it’s not just one word, but many?
…………..Then everyone will know. [dun dun dun]
